Frontera products come from the kitchen of renowned Chicago chef Rick Bayless. It has been our great pleasure to work with Rick and his energetic team to develop a visual vocabulary for this distinctive brand. What started many years ago as five salsas based on authentic, regional Mexican recipes, has evolved into an array of sauces and meal starters for an American audience enthusiastic to experience Mexican cooking beyond tacos and burritos. Anchored by an expressive script logo, contemporary sans-serif typography and a color palette inspired by the urban Mexican landscape, the packaging frames simple, elegant food photography, restaurant-menu-style language and a backdrop of Mexican iconography adapted from Aztec and Mayan glyphs and motifs.
